Current Pretec CF WLAN Card supports IEEE 802.11b. Now the new CF WLAN Card could support IEEE802.11b/g with data rate of up to 54Mbps.

IEEE 802.11b has gotten a long-awaited increase in speed through a new amendment, IEEE802.11g, raises the data rate of IEEE802.11b networks to 54Mbps from 11Mbps. The added transmission speed gives wireless networks based on IEEE802.11b. The IEEE802.11g units also could fall back to speeds of 11Mbps, so IEEE 802.11b and IEEE802.11g devices can coexist in the same network. The two standards apply to the 2.4GHz frequency band.
